Recap during the #TPW2020 Royal Connections
It was
definitely an afternoon of interactive, learning fun and with our speakers, Stylist Danielle Hall, youth advocate Duane Williams Jr, who spoke in great enthusiasm about
confidence, self-love, inner beauty and safety.
Of course, there was a fun seminar from Epiphany of Nails by Piphy
on how to take care of our hands and nails and a floral design seminar for several ways to use flowers to beautify your space by Romona
Williams, of Romona's Gifted Hands Design and Decoration.
Followed by a panel discussion "Teen
Boss: Confessions of a Teenpreneur", which was moderated by
Kalin Thomas and participated by our Teen bosses, Kayla Eady & Keyara
Dunlap with their mothers, Mom Breienn DeFrancesco and Mom Courtney
Sturvidant. They shared their experiences and struggles in creating their own
business at their young age and with the guidance of their family.
A beautiful dance
number was performed by Sara Glasscho and later followed by a virtual Fashion
show, with our girls showing their outfits and poses! Moderated by Steven “Cool
Steve” Williams, the girls looked spectacular
and beautiful during the virtual fashion show and they struts the digital stage.
We won’t end this year without naming a deserving lady as #TPW Girl of the Year. This honor was awarded to ALISA "LILY" DEADWILDER. Her act of selfless gained her this prestigious honor.
